Genetic Potential Calculator
Discover your muscular genetic potential
Once you have these values, it will then be possible to determine your FFMI (Fat-Free Mass Index) which is a very important parameter for assessing body composition.

Understand the importance of your current and potential FFMI
The only index for body composition that really matters
Once known your genetic potential, the simplest and most effective way to follow the evolution of your body composition will be to know your FFMI (Fat-Free Mass Index, a well-known index in fitness industry). This measures the proportions between your height and your body weight excluding the body fat, which is to say the weight of muscle mass (35-50%), bone structure (~15%), and organs and other components (~ 25%). Muscle mass is the varying element and is what we are interested in tracking.
The classic Body Mass Index (BMI), commonly used by nutritionists and dietitians, is an inadequate indicator for people with above-average muscle mass, as it only takes weight and height into account, and is therefore inconclusive as to the proportions between body fat and muscle mass.
You can compare your FFMI with the standard values for men and women described in the graphs below.

How to get there?
It is not enough to know your genetic potential to be satisfied or to have some associated merit. We must honor and appreciate the genetics that nature has given to us.
